Prostygarctus aculeatus gen. nov., sp. nov. (Rubal et al. 2013)
Terra typica: Atlantic Ocean (Portugal, Europe)
Atlantic Ocean:
• 41°31′02.71′′N, 08°47′14.79′′W; 0 m bsl: [FAO27] Type Locality: Portugal, Braga District, Esposende Municipality, Ofir Beach, well-sorted medium sand. Rubal et al. (2013)

Remarks: This is a recently described species known only from the type locality.
