Geophis juliai Pérez­Higareda, Smith & López­Luna 2001: 42. Geophis semidoliatus: Pérez­Higareda et al. 1987: 16.

Holotype. Estación de Biología Tropical Los Tuxtlas (UNAM­LT) 2775, adult male collected 10 August 1984.

Type­locality. Estación de Biología Tropical Los Tuxtlas, 150 m elevation, Veracruz, Mexico.

Distribution. Known only from mesic forest in the Los Tuxtlas region of southern Veracruz, Mexico, 150­ 600 m elevation.

Species group. semidoliatus (Pérez­Higareda et al. 2001).
