Distribution in Turkey. Artvin (Theischinger 1976a); Bayburt, Çankırı (Kazancı 1983b); Artvin, Bayburt, Rize (Kazancı 1994); Artvin, Giresun, Rize, Trabzon (Vinçon & Zhiltzova 2004); Bayburt (Kazancı 2008); Bayburt, Rize (Kazancı 2009a); Rize, Trabzon (Kazancı 2013); country record only: listed from Turkey (Kazancı 1983b; Kazancı 2008). Map (Fig. 44).
Distribution and ecology. Caucasus, central and eastern Pontus. Strongly orophilic species (950–2850 m) occurring in various kind of streams. Adults emerge in late spring and summer (VI–VIII).
