Bombus humilis subsp. paraurantiacus Reinig 1976

Description

Bombus humilis paraurantiacus (Reinig, 1976)

Its dispersal is restricted to the northern half of the Iberian Peninsula, with an elevational distribution between 500 and 2000 m (Ornosa & Ortiz-Sánchez 2004).

At present, it has been collected between 914 and 1458 m (Fig. 7). This subspecies is rare and scarce (Table 2). New records. Spain: Huesca: Biescas, 10-VIII-2014, 3 males, E. Acosta leg., UMU; Lleida: Artiga de Lin, 15-VIII-2 012, 1 male, P. De la Rúa leg., UMU.
