Description
Leptoclinus maculatus (Fries, 1838).
Daubed Shanny. To 23 cm (9.1 in) TL (Coad in Coad and Reist 2018). Circumpolar; northern Scandinavia, White Sea to Spitsbergen, Iceland, southern Greenland to Cape Cod, Massachusetts; Arctic Canada to Beaufort Sea, Alaska to Sea of Okhotsk and Tatar Strait, Sea of Japan to Puget Sound, Washington (Mecklenburg et al. 2002, Mecklenburg and Sheiko 2004). Benthic; depth: 2–773 m (7–2,535 ft) (min.: Mecklenburg et al. 2002; max.: Mecklenburg et al. 2016).
