Sebastes serriceps

Description

Sebastes serriceps (Jordan & Gilbert, 1880).

Treefish. To 41 cm (16 in) TL (Phillips 1957). San Francisco, northern California to Isla de Cedros, central Baja California (Phillips 1957). Benthic; depth: intertidal to 103 m (338 ft) (min. Milton Love, unpubl. data; max.: Butler et al. 2012). Young juveniles frequently live under drifting kelp.
