Description
Rhynchohyalus natalensis (Gilchrist & von Bonde, 1924).
Glasshead Barreleye. 16 cm (6.3 in) SL (Hartel and Orrell in Carpenter and De Angelis 2016). Circumglobal (Fricke et al. 2020); Ogasawara Islands (Aizawa in Nakabo 2002); off San Clemente Island (Personal communication: Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History Fish Collection, Los Angeles, California), southern California and off northern Baja California (Personal communication: Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History Fish Collection, Los Angeles, California). Depth: 0–775 m (2,542 ft) (Fricke et al. 2011).
