ABOUT THE NEGATIVE DIGITAL ROOT AND SOME OF ITS PROPERTIES RELATED TO MODULAR ARITHMETIC.

Abstract : In this paper we propose a general formula for calculating the digital root of any non-positive integer, and express this formula in two forms including one related to the floor function. We also present some properties of congruences that manifest themselves when working with negative digital roots ahd its relation to modular arithmetic.
