Migration Mobility Survey, waves 2016, 2018 and 2020. Codebook and metadata along DDI standard.
The third wave of the Migration-Mobility Survey took place during the fall of 2020.
Seven thousand three hundred-ninety three migrants were surveyed, 3282 of whom
were surveyed 2 years ago (Panel). The remaining 4111 comprised the so-called
Refresh sample. Among the 3282 members of the panel, 1293 where already
interviewed in 2016.
The topics included the migratory trajectory before arriving in Switzerland,
characteristics of the arrival, information on the family, education level, labour market
participation and topics referring to social integration and life in Switzerland. The 2020
wave also include a specific module referring to the Covid-19.

Data use

Publications and methodological principals

6. not to publish results based on less than 5 observations.
7. to forward or publish the results of my analyses in such a way that individual persons remain unidentifiable.
8. To provide a copy of all publications to the survey coordinators
9. to cite all used data and documents conforming with accepted scientific standards. In case of publication of the results, the data provider is informed and any copies of publications, papers, and/or presentations based in whole or in part on the data is transferred.
