Historical Sources of Soviet Television

The purpose of the article is to explore the TV genres of Soviet television and identify the interrelation of its development with political, economic and social events in the USSR. The research methods. With the help of analytical, comparative, and historical, methods to consider the Soviet television development, where, in the process of its evolution, there was a transformation of genres, types and formats of television programs. The scientific novelty. The first one has been systematically implemented in the TV program.
