Paracaesio gonzalesi Fourmanoir & Rivaton 1979 — Vanuatu snapper
Status at New Ireland. First recorded from Lihir Group, Namatamai District, New Ireland by Fry et al. (2006: 129).
Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 5.—General distribution: Philippines and Papua New Guinea east to Tuvalu and Fiji, south to Vanuatu. Bathydemersal, 140–250 m depth. Marine.
