Neochalcis yoshiokai Habu 1960

Description

Neochalcis yoshiokai Habu, 1960

Hockeria yoshiokai Habu, 1960: 230–233. Original description ♀. Japan, Kanamachi, Katsushika-ku.

Neochalcis yoshiokai Habu: Narendran 1989: 80.

Comment

Narendran (1989: 80) transferred H. yoshiokai to Neochalcis but the original description (Habu 1960) shows that this species does not belong neither to Hockeria nor to Neochalcis. Habu (1960) himself compared his new species with Hockeria magna Bouček, 1952 which, according to the results of the phylogenetic study using UCE belongs to a new genus (Cruaud et al. 2021).
