Prionocyphus serricornis (MÜLLER, 1821)

Ä l t e r e F u n d e: Brunnbach, Reichraminger Hintergebirge, Lichtfalle, 1983 (Malicky).
In Mitteleuropa in Waldgebieten weit verbreitet, aber selten. Die Larve entwickelt sich in Wasseransammlungen in den Astlöchern und Wurzelnischen alter Laubbäume. Der Käfer ist dämmerungsaktiv und fliegt gerne zum Licht.
