Description
Chionodes soella Huemer & Sattler, 1995
Iremel 24–27.VI.1996, 11.VII.1997; Miass 13.VI.1996; 26.VI.1996, 26–27.VI.1997, 19.VI.1998, 28.VI.1999, 19–21.VI.2001, 24.VI.2001. Locally abundant.
Distribution. Russia (Transbaikalia, Ural and Altai Mountains).
Remarks. The species was recently described from the Altai Mountains. Furthermore, it is also known from the Polar Ural region. Both known localities in S Ural are taiga forests with plenty of Larix sibirica, a supposed hostplant.
