Aristotelia mirabilis (Christoph, 1888)

Distribution. S Russia. Outside of Russia known from Portugal (Karsholt 2004), Spain (O. Karsholt, unpublished) and Ukraine (Crimea) (Bidzilya & Budashkin 2009).

Remarks. This species was described from Volgograd (Sarepta). It belongs to a group of closely related species, which has not yet been revised. Anikin et al. (1999) suppose that A. mirabilis has vanished from its type locality.
