Amynthas exilisarius exilisarius (Thai, 1984)

Type locality. Vietnam (Hanoi: Soc Son).
Type material. ZMUM (W.214), Russia.
Examined material. 1 C (SORC-V.045.01) forest at elevation of 900m a.s.l., Tam Quan, Tam Dao, Vinh Phuc, 19/4/1984.
Records from Vietnam. Vinh Phuc (Tam Dao); Hanoi (Soc Son; Ba Vi NP); Phu Tho (Xuan Son NP) (Thai 1984a; Le 1995a; Huynh & Nguyen 2004a; Huynh et al. 2005).
Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.
Remarks. Thai (1983) proposed a new subgenus Terrata of the genus Pheretima, and placed the species under the new subgenus. Blakemore (2007a, 2008b) considered it as " species inquirenda ". Material was re-examined and absence of male copulatory pouches and hence placement of the species in Amynthas is confirmed here.

Type locality. Vietnam (Nghe An: Que Phong).
Type material. SORC, Vietnam.
Examined material. 3 C, 4 A (SORC-V.046.01), and 3 C (CTU-EW.059.01) near stream on the footprint of Bu Coi Mts, Chau Phong, Quy Chau, Nghe An, 15/5/1988, coll. Tran Minh Khoi; 8 C (SORC-V.046.02) primary forest, Tri Le, Que Phong, 20/12/1987, coll. Tran Minh Khoi.
Records from Vietnam. Nghe An (Que Phong; Quy Chau) (Do 1994).
Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.
