Holotype: 1 worker, MEXICO, Tamaulipas: Rancho del Cielo, nr cabins, 23.10105 −99.19233 ± 50m, 1200m, 17-Jul-2006, mixed oak, ex forest litter (R. S. Anderson, RSA2006-0005) [UNAM, unique specimen identifier CASENT0644247]. PARATYPES: same data as holotype [worker: CASC, USNM]; Rancho del Cielo, along road, 23.09428 −99.20318 ± 50m, 1100m, 18-Jul-2006, mixed hardwood, ex forest litter (R. S. Anderson, RSA 2006-0006) [worker: MCZC].
