The glass uses for various purposes including for different medical purposes.  The Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo contains many of these medical models as a result of many factors and forces that cause damage, which may lead to loss and decline over time, as these pots suffer from various damage, which also helps in the speed of the mechanics of damage.

For these glass tools carry a history recorded on their surfaces reflecting the past in all its historical, artistic, human and religious aspects, it is necessary to seek the best ways to preserve and preserve it from extinction. This research aims to study one of the models of this type of effects, and the use of the best scientific methods based on a pre-experimental study for the rehabilitation of various cleaning operations and strengthening.
