Description

Figure 13 Number of scutacarid species belonging to different genera associated with various "insects" (insecta). The group "insects" comprises Entognatha, Dermaptera, Diptera, Heteroptera, Isoptera and Orthoptera as well as hosts that have not been defined further in literature. "Other genera" combineCoronipes, Diversipes, Reductacarus, Rettenmeyerella, Scutacaropsis and Thaumatopelvis.
