Description. Form: Elongate. Length: 11.5–12.5 mm (measured from the apex of the clypeus to the apex of the elytra); width: 6.10–6.50 mm (measured at base of the elytra). Color: Dark-green or deep-blue with violet iridescence; elytra metallic reddish-brown; apical three segments of abdomen reddish-brown; antennae bluish-green, apex of basal three segments reddish-brown. Head: Deeply inserted in prothorax, without punctures. Clypeus short, distinctly separated into ante- and postclypeus, with impressed line between labrum and clypeus.Eyes elliptical; average dorso-ventral eye length ¼ 0.32 mm; average interocular distance (at dorso-mesal margins) ¼ 1.52 mm; outer surface of mandible with dense punctures and sparse pubescence. Coronal suture distinct. Antennae slender, segment (1–11) length (average of type series) in millimeters 0.56, 0.16, 0.48, 0.40, 0.40, 0.32, 0.40, 0.48, 0.48, 0.48, 0.72. Pronotum: Average length at middle ¼ 5.10 mm, average width at middle ¼ 4.10 mm; laterally rounded before middle, central area of surface flat without punctures, lateral margin depressed, from base margin to the middle with sparse punctures in the depression. Scutellum: Triangular, impunctate, with apex rounded. Elytra: Length ¼ 11.0 mm, width (at middle) ¼ 8.0 mm. Fairly convex, with five rows of punctures, more distinct at base than apex. Underside: Finely pubescent. Prosternal process and metasternum impunctate, finely pubescent, metaepisternum with sparse and coarse punctures. Abdominal sternite with fine punctures. Inner margin of epipleuron with line of setae. Median lobe: Truncate apically in ventral view, in lateral view long and slender, gradually narrower towards apex (Figs. 15–16).
