One paratype is deposited in NMPC (ex coll. Z. Tesař): PARATYPE (J): ‘Hori / Formosa [hw] // Paratypus [p] / Poecilophilides / eddai J / n.sp. [hw], Dr. Tesar det. [p, red label] // coll. / Tesař [p]’.
Current status. Anthracophora eddai (Tesař, 1959), see, e.g., YU et al. (1992).
