Description

Deltocephalus Burmeister

Jassus subgenus Deltocephalus Burmeister, 1838: 15; Ribaut, 1952: 246. Type species: Cicada pulicaris Fallén, by subsequent designation.

Deltocephalus, Webb & Viraktamath, 2009: 12.

Remarks. The genus can be recognized by the aedeagal shaft being short and robust without processes, strongly curved dorsally and with an apical gonopore.
