Melanotaenia pygmaea Allen
Pygmy Rainbowfish
Endemic to the Prince Regent River system in the Kimberley, Melanotaenia pygmaea is known from only a few locations within this system and is one of the more restricted Kimberley freshwater fishes (Fig. 22).
