21. Monadenia fidelis (J. E. GRAY, 1834), Pacific Sideband (Abb. 8 a-c)
V e r b r e i t u n g: Pazifische küstennahe Gebiete vom südöstlichen Alaska bis ins nördliche California; im allgemeinen westlich des Kammes der Cascade Range (Kaskadengebirge). Da sie sehr farbvariabel ist, wurden zahlreiche Formen beschrieben.
H a b i t a t e: FeuchteWälder.Sielebt in der Bodenstreu, an verrottendem Holz, steigt auch an Bäumen auf; sie frisst Pilze und abgestorbenes pflanzliches Material.
