Type material. Syntypes 2 specimens (1 male, 1 female), 19 mm, USNM 69101, Puerto Rican Deep, North Atlantic Ocean (18°37’30”N to 18°38’15”N 65°02’15”W to 65°00’30”W), 310–400 fm (567–732 m), 3 March 1933, Johnson-Smithsonian Deep-Sea Expedition (stn 97).
Type locality. Puerto Rican Deep, North Atlantic Ocean (18°37’30”N to 18°38’15”N, 65°02’15”W to 65°00’30”W).
Depth range. 567– 732 m.
Distribution. NORTH ATLANTIC OCEAN. Puerto Rican Deep (Shoemaker 1934).
