Distribution in North Carolina: Central and eastern parts of the state. Counties: BL, CK, CU, RB, WK, WY (material examined) and CR, CT, DP, DU, HO, IR, LN, ME, MO, NH, ON, OR (in literature).
Distribution in surrounding states: GA (Smith 1955b) and SC (Guénard and Lucky 2011).
Proceratium crassicorne Emery, 1895 * (rarely collected species)
Distribution in North Carolina: Northern part of the state. Counties: CK, MT and OR (material examined).
Distribution in surrounding states: GA (MacGown 2012b), TN (Baroni Urbani and De Andrade 2003) and VA (Baroni Urbani and De Andrade 2003).
Proceratium croceum (Roger, 1860) (rarely collected species)
Distribution in North Carolina: Piedmont Plateau. Counties: HA, MO, WK (material examined) and DU (in literature).
Distribution in surrounding states: GA (Baroni Urbani and De Andrade 2003, Ipser et al. 2004), SC (Baroni Urbani and De Andrade 2003), TN (Baroni Urbani and De Andrade 2003, Lessard et al. 2007) and VA (Baroni Urbani and De Andrade 2003).
