Genus Capitolichus Gaud and Atyeo
Capitolichus tetroplourus Gaud and Atyeo, 1974
Hosts and distribution. This species was described ex Eubucco bourcierii (Lafresnaye) (Piciformes: Capitonidae) from Colombia (Dept. Meta, Macarena range; Dept. Cundinamarca, Bogotá) (Gaud & Atyeo 1974). This mite has never been recollected since the original description.
