ORIGINALLY INCLUDED SPECIES: Musca buccata Fallén, 1824; Hylephila melitensis Rondani, 1877; Hylephila inflata Rondani, 1877.
TYPE SPECIES: Musca buccata Fallén, 1824 [= Leucophora sericea Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830], by original designation.
CURRENT STATUS: Preoccupied by Billberg, 1820; junior synonym of Leucophora Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 [teste Dely-Draskovits (1993: 69)].
FAMILY: ANTHOMYIIDAE.
