187. Elachisoma Rondani, 1880a: 5, 18.
ORIGINALLY INCLUDED SPECIES: Elachisoma atomus Rondani, 1880; Limosina nigerrimus Haliday, 1836 (as “ Limosina nigerrima Hal. ”).
TYPE SPECIES: Limosina nigerrimus Haliday, 1836 (as “ Limosina nigerrima Hal. ”) [= Borborus aterrimus Haliday, 1833], by original designation.
CURRENT STATUS: Valid genus [teste Rohaček (2001: 143)].
FAMILY: SPHAEROCERIDAE.
EMENDATIONS: Elachysoma Rye, 1881: 5 (unjustified), n. syn.
