Description

Philippius superbus (Reed, 1872)

Listroderes superbus Reed, 1872: 354 (type locality: Chile: Río Puelo).

Philippius superbus; Germain, 1895: 314.

Philippius insignis Germain, 1895: 315 (type locality: Chile; type material: L: MHNS); Kuschel, 1950: 13 (= P. superbus).

Distribution. Argentina and Chile (Kuschel, 1987; Morrone, 1990).
