Description

Genus Paracyathus Milne Edwards & Haime, 1848

Type species. Paracyathus procumbens Milne Edwards & Haime, 1848c, Middle Eocene of France.

Diagnosis. Solitary, turbinate, fixed or free. Septotheca costate. Paliform lobes often bi- or trilobated, opposite all but last cycle. Columella papillose, often indistinguishable from the inner paliform lobes.
