Henicospilus obscuriceps Enderlein, 1921: 31. Holotype ♀ from Tanzania, not examined Material examined: SPAIN: 1♂, Almeria province, Sra, Alhamilla, El Chorillo, 36˚57’1N, 2˚23’9E, 8–9 May 2013, 320 m. a. s., Vogtenhuber leg. (OÖLM).
Remarks: New to the Palaearctic realm. According to Gauld and Mitchell (1978) widely distributed throughout Central Africa, reaching as far north as Yemen.
