Type depository. South Australian Museum, Adelaide, Australia.
Type locality and habitat. Macquarie Island, Australian Antarctic Territory, 28 October 1913, between tidemarks. Note. Described based on specimens reported by Womersley (1937) as Hydrogamasus antarcticus Trägårdh, 1907.
