Picromerus Amyot & Serville, 1843

Picromerus is primarily an Old World genus, currently containing eleven species. The single species listed below was first recorded from the United States (Maine, Vermont) by Cooper (1967), and has now spread throughout the northeastern U.S. and southeastern Canada (Lattin & Donahue 1969, Larochelle & Larivière 1980, and citations listed below).
