Material examined: Sardegna: I TG 15-01a, 1/0/0; I TG 20-01a,b,d, 2/2/0; Sicilia: All parts except for Peloritani; I 46, 0/1/0; I 133, 1/1/0; I 165 a, 0/1/0; I 168, 0/1/0; I 177, 2/2/0; I 178, 1/0/0; I 179, 5/4/0; I 181, 0/0/1; I 187, 0/4/8; I 188, 0/3/3; I 193, 4/2/0; I 218, 0/1/0; I 297, 15/23/0; I 298, 3/4/0; I 302, 2/2/0 slide; I 484, 1/0/1 slide; I 485, 1/1/0 slide. 20 sites, 103 specimens.
Previously published records from Italy: Sardegna (Gerecke 2014b); Sicilia (Gerecke 2003).
Habitat: Rhithrobiont. Medium order streams, preferably at low altitude, 60-810 m.
Distribution. Central and Southern Europe. So far, no records from southern continental Italy.
