Plagiochila patula Lindenb.

Description

Plagiochila patula (Sw.) Lindenb.

Chiriqui: Loc. 21, epiphytic, c. spor., 1620 m, 34408, det. Heinrichs.

A poorly known species, so far reported from Jamaica (type), Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Peru, French Guiana, and Brazil (Gradstein 1997; Heinrichs et al. 1998; Holz et al. 2001), from Panama previously known from old collections from Chiriqui.
