114. Microperus pometianus (Schedl)

Xyleborus pometianus Schedl, 1939a: 354.

Microperus pometianus (Schedl): Hulcr & Cognato, 2010: 21.

Thai distribution: N: Chiang Mai (Nunberg & Chujo, 1961: 358 as Xyleborus pometianus). There are no later records from Thailand.

Other distribution: Malaysia (E. & W.), Papua New Guinea, Philippines. Intercepted in Japan in timber from the Philippines. (3)

Biology: Browne (1961a) suggests an association with Sapindaceae, but there are too few host records available to be at all sure of this.
