Other distribution: Brunei Darussalam, India (Kerala), Indonesia (Java, Kalimantan, Sumatera), Malaysia (E. & W.), Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Is., Taiwan, Vietnam. The species also occurs in Laos (R. A. Beaver, unpublished records). (4)
Biology: Polyphagous (Beaver 2010). Kalshoven (1959) and Browne (1961a) describe the biology and gallery system, which resembles that of H.comans (see above).
