Lasiella picea Reuter 1884

Description

Lasiella picea Reuter, 1884

(Indonesia, New Guinea)

Author has not seen specimens of this species. Carayon (1972a) placed this genus among the Lasiochilinae. It is also probable that it belongs to the tribe Lasiochilini. Based on original description, this genus seems to have a particular combination of characters such as: body flattened dorso-ventrally, widened and unarmed fore- and hindfemora and some punctures on base of hemelytra. Nevertheless Lasiella is not included in the world key presented here.
