Economic and Financial Valuation of Companies using Linguistic Information Based on Expertons and 2-Tuple Linguistic Representation

Summary

The aim of this work is to analyse estimates of the economic and financial value of a company in environments of uncertainty, in which it is possible that can be obtained only through opinions expressed by experts. For such situations, a model will be proposed that allows processing of this information by means of linguistic labels, as opposed to its presentation in the form of precise numerical values. Additionally, consideration will be given to the possibility of representing this information by the use of linguistic 2-tuples, a methodology that allows operations with data provided in different domains of expression. Furthermore, in view of the good results obtained with the technique of expertons in problems involving the aggregation of judgements by experts, in this work a hybrid model will be set out that renders possible a joint application to the valuation of companies.
