Diagnosis: Prozona short and high with distinct lobes; lateral projections of mesozona distinct; metazona long, slightly raised, its lateral margins straight, hind margin rounded (Figs. 5a–d) narrower in some specimens than that of the figures; male tegmina (Figs. 5a, c, e) broad and long, reaching always beyond hind knee; axillary 1 and axillary 2 veins of hind wing distinct and separated; distal excision of dorsal carina of hind femur distinct, its ventral carina clearly wavy; inner side of hind femur darkened with dark blue macula but always surrounded with red color; inner side of hind tibia dark red; male penis valves (Figs. 5g, h) stout apically (but slender than that of the following subspecies), their apices strongly curved upwards in lateral view, widened in posterior view; lophi (Fig. 5i) with more than 15 dense spines, posterior margin of epiphallus (Fig. 5i) with a rounded projection.

This subspecies is different from G. dimorphus armenus by the higher prozona, narrower and shorter male tegmina, hind femur with more blue color and distribution. It is near to G. escherichi elatior by the shape of metazona and coloration of hind femur in some specimens. But it is different from it by the broader and longer male tegmina (always shorter than abdomen in G. escherichi elatior), the ratio of prozona to metazona (prozona shorter in G. dimorphus dimorphus), narrower metazona and smaller body size.

Distribution: (Fig. 17). Turkey: Afyonkarahisar, W of Konya: Akşehir and environs, Seydişehir, Kütahya, Isparta: Sutan Daǧları.

Remarks: The records given from “Afiun” (Afyonkarahisar) as Tmethis escherichi (Uvarov 1930) is belong to this subspecies.
