Description

Figure 1. Localities associated with the five Brettus species known from South and Southeast Asia. These are based on both published records and posted photographs or videos (see text). Only two of these species (B. anchorum and B. cingulatus) are widely distributed. A sixth species, B. madagascarensis (Peckham & Peckham 1903) has been described from a single female collected in Madagascar.
