Panama Papers: a case for reproducible research, data activism and frictionless data
Description
The leak about offshore companies and tax heavens is the biggest
one in history up to now in size, reach and complexity, but despite that,
the curated data released to the general public is pretty small (~36
Mb of compressed data). This could open an opportunity for a more
plural comprehension and participation of the interested citizens
with an approach that combines reproducible research, data activism
and friction-less data and could draw some insights and recommended
practices and technologies when more information and other research
becomes available.
