Batch configuration and attachment: Attached, singly (Fig. 651).

Colour: Off­white, becoming irregularly blotched rust­red, then transparent grey on maturity (Fig. 651).

Size (mm): (n= 4) L = 1.01 ± 0.01, W = 0.82 ± 0.01, T = 0.69 ± 0.01.

Width/length: 0.81

No. of females: 1

Aeropylar opening size (m) (n=10): L = 1.44 ± 0.07, W = 1.08 ± 0.04

Relative aeropylar opening size: 1.4

Micropyles: Distinct (Figs 652 & 653)

No. of openings: 6

No. of cells in rosette: 9

No. of rows of cells in micropylar area: 5

Shape: Broad, bluntly ovoid, dorso­ventrally flattened, anterior pole angled to horizontal axis (Figs 651, 652 & 654).

Characteristics: Egg marked on all surfaces by round to hexagonal, concave cells with broad walls (Figs 652, 654–657), micropylar cell walls narrow (Fig. 653). Aeropyles, slightly elevated, openings very small (Fig. 655), present on all surfaces apart from top of wider lateral side (Fig. 656). Micropylar cells slightly recessed (Fig. 653). Micropyles offcentred (Fig. 652). Chorion undulating, irregularly pitted (Figs 655–657).
