Description
Hygrobates calliger Piersig, 1896
Material examined: IR24 Kerman Province, stream in Simk village (30°30'N 57°12'E), 2370 m asl., 27.07.2003, leg. Pesic (0/0/1).
Remarks: This species inhabits superficial waters throughout the country (Pesic et al. 2004b), and occurs only occasionally in the hyporheic habitat.
Distribution: Palaearctic.
Notes
