2. Eutrypanus mucoreus (Bates, 1872)
Type locality — Nicaragua, Chontales. (BMNH). Distribution — Mexico (Veracruz) to Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador.
Astynomus mucoreus Bates, 1872: 221; 1881a: 182, pl. 13, fig. 20; 1885: 418 (distr.); Lameere, 1893: 280 (distr.); Chemsak & Linsley, 1970: 408 (lect.).
Acanthocinus mucoreus; Gemminger & Harold, 1873: 3162 (cat.).
