Description

Genus Pachylaelapsoides Mašán, 2007

Pachylaelapsoides Mašán, 2007a: 158.

Type species Pachylaelapsoides longipedis Mašán, 2007, by original designation.

The monotypic genus Pachylaelapsoides may be distinguished from the other pachylaelapine genera by the following characters: (1) presence of an increased number of setae on some segments of leg IV: genu IV with eight setae and tibia IV with nine setae, instead of the usual seven setae on both segments; (2) at least legs I and IV longer than idiosoma; (3) enlarged slit-like gland pores gdZ1, (4) well developed (not minute) needle-like clunal setae J5; and (5) bipartite projection on male femur II (Mašán, 2007a).
