Comments. Asterodiscides contains 18 species (Mah 2018b) occurring throughout the tropical Pacific and Indian Oceans at moderately deep depths, between 10 and 800 m, but most between 20 and 150. Rowe (1977, 1986) and Lane and Rowe (2009) have produced much of the primary work for Asterodiscides.
