Additional details
-Condition: RBF and RBO refer to the two rule-based tasks (RBF: spatial frequency is the relevant dimension; RBO: orientation is the relevant dimension).
-Condition: IIP and IIN refer to the two information integration tasks (IIP: RBF distributions are rotated 45 degrees. Thus, distributions have a positive slope; IIN: RBF distributions are rotated -45 degrees, and the distributions have a negative slope).
-Frequency and Orientation refer to the physical stimulus values of each exemplar (and each range from 0 to 100).
-In the trial sequence, the rat initiates each trial by pressing a star stimulus at the center of the touchscreen. For each trial, RT and the 'x' and y' coordinates of this touch are provided (STAR_RT, STARX, STARY)
-After a touch of the star, an exemplar is presented at the center of the screen (the cue phase), and the rat must touch this cue three times for each trial and for each touch of the cue- RT, x and y coordinates are provide (CUERT_1 ..., CUEX_1 ..., CUEY_1 ...)
-After three touches of the cue, report key appear on sides of the screen. The rat must touch either key (CHOICERT, CHOICEX, CHOICEY).
-For correct responses, a white box appears. One touch of the white box delivers a food pellet (REWARDRT, REWARDX, REWARDY)
-Rats were given training sessions (each containing 80 trials) until a learning criterion was met (75% accuracy in both categories on 2 consecutive sessions). Then, 5 testing sessions were given.

Additional details
-Condition: RB refers to the rule-based task. II refers to the information integration task.
-Frequency and Orientation refer to the physical stimulus values of each exemplar (and each range from 0 to 100).
-In the trial sequence, the participant initiates each trial by pressing the spacebar (STARTRT)
-Then, an exemplar is presented at the center of the screen, and the participant decides its category membership by pressing either 'q' or 'p' on the keyboard (CHOICERT)
-Participants were given two blocks (with 80 trials each) of training trials. Then, participants were given four blocks (each 80 trials) of testing trials.
