The interaction between the ICM and galaxies in merging clusters
Description
I review the impact of cluster mergers on the resident galaxies. First, I review the mechanisms by which interactions with the ICM can impact the star forming properties of galaxies during cluster mergers. Then, I review the current observational evidence for accelerated evolution within this turbulent environment.
